GROVE CITY ROAD INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES AT ELM STREET | SEPT. 11-16

The Grove City Service Department reports intermittent lane closures are scheduled on Grove City Road, for water service installation.

  • The eastbound lanecloses intermittently 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Two-way trafficwill be maintained in the westbound lane with flaggers.
    • Wednesday, Sept, 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
    • Thursday, Sept. 12 or Friday, Sept, 13, two-hour duration between 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
    • Monday, Sept. 16, four-hour duration between 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • All work is weather permitting.

BROWN ROAD NORTH OF DYER ROAD CLOSURE

The Franklin County Engineer's Office reports Brown Road, north of Dyer Road, will close Wednesday, Sept. 4 for resurfacing and intersection improvements.

  • Detour:Northbound traffic: Brown Road, west on Dyer Road to Gantz Road, north on Gantz Road to Frank Road, and east on Frank Road to Brown Road, or reverse.
  • Closure duration: Sept. 4,approximately 20 days.
  • All work is weather permitting.

HAUGHN ROAD CLOSURE

The Franklin County Engineer's Office reports Haughn Road over Grant Run, south of Orders Road, is closed for a box culvert installation.

  • Detour:Southbound traffic: Haughn Road, east on Orders Road to Hoover Road, south on Hoover Road to London-Groveport Road (SR 665), west on SR 665 to Bill Lotz Way and north on Bill Lotz Way to Haughn Road, or reverse.
  • Closure duration: Sept. 3,approximately 35 days.
  • All work is weather permitting.

MCCOMB ROAD BRIDGE

The Ohio Department of Transportation reportsthe McComb Road bridge, near Home Road, over I-270 is closed for bridge rehabilitation.

  • Detour:Home Road to Gantz Road to Breeze Hill Drive to McZand Boulevard, or reverse.
  • Closure duration: Aug. 26,approximately 35 days.
  • All work is weather permitting.

HOLTON ROAD IMPROVEMENTS

  • The intersections of Meadow Grove Drive and Merrybell Lane at Holton Road are closed.
  • Traffic is switched to the north side. Travel through the corridor will remain westbound.
  • Improvements include road widening, sidewalk installation, a shared-use path, new street lighting, curb and gutters, water main replacement, and improvements to the storm sewer.

Westbound travel only on Holton (east to west) from Buckeye Parkway to Hoover Road.

Detourfor eastbound traffic is south on Hoover Road, east on Quail Creek Boulevard/Borror Road, and north on Buckeye Parkway.

  • Expected completion: February 2025.

2024 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

The 2024 Street Program maintenance is underway.

  • Work is planned weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Plan your commute accordingly and use caution in the construction areas.
  • Traffic will be maintained at all times.
  • All work is weather permitting.

OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (ODOT) | CLOSURES

From time to time, ODOT schedules lane or ramp closures for work in Grove City and southern Franklin County.

TOWN CENTER | GROVE CITY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FARMERS' MARKET

Slow traffic is expected in Grove City Town Center for the market, due to heavy pedestrian presence.

  • When:7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturdays
  • Where:Broadway from Grove City Road to Columbus Street

Please use caution in the area.

Ample parking is available throughout Grove City Town Center.
